Bernando LaPallo just turned 109 years young and credits the raw diet for his long life. He is living proof that eating a mostly fresh, whole raw food diet as the way nature intended slows the aging process and allows you to live a long life without illness. This is uncommon in our world today, but Bernando lives unlike most, he has eaten a mainly raw vegan diet for over 100 years, 2/3's of his diet consists of fresh greens, he walks daily, drinks pure water and doesn't believe in stress. He has outlived some of his children, has never been sick and is more alive at 109 years than most others in the 60's, 70's or 80's.

He has been a regular at our local raw food potlucks here in Arizona, and after meeting him personally was captivated by his vitality, experience, down to earth nature and wit. His mind is sharp as most in middle age (or better) and he's living proof of how the raw food diet benefits your optimal health and longevity. Enjoy!

    Thanks so much for sharing this very inspirational story. I’m very impressed, even fascinated with the amazing improvements in my health since I became a raw vegan. I’m an avid cyclist here in Colorado at the age of 60. This article inspires me to keep on keeping on with my raw lifestyle.

    health problem.
    I’ll never have any meet, milk,egg and never cooked food.

    gentelmen,
    (1)whatever is so important for raw vegetarians is that they do never need Doctors-MD. unfortunately medical Mafia and medicals’ Mafia wait that the people get sick then they give them injections or other medicals. Non of doctors say what to do for being healthy and not get sick.
    (2)killing animals were a tradition since centuries for meat, wool- to make clothes, skin-to make shoes. but now no need for them.
    (3)meat is the most important causes for cancer, heart sisease, diabet, obesity. death in young ages finally.
    (4)milk causes osteoprrosis for all specially women. but no Doctor knows it and they propose more glasses of milk pper day for this anomaly.
    (5)egg protein is very difficult to digest. max the the body can tolerate is 1/15 of an egg. unfortunately people get sometimes more than 4-5 eggs a day.
