I created VeganRawDiet.com to share my experiences of transitioning to a 100% live food lifestyle. You’ll find out why eating a vegan, raw and living food diet is the best way to lose weight (and keep it off permanently) without dieting, avoid common health issues and stay healthy, have boundless energy and just feel awesome.
Many years ago I was overweight, got sick regularly, had seasonal and regular allergies, lacked energy and had digestion difficulties.
During a weekend seminar with Anthony Robbins back in the summer of 1991 I learned about the benefits of eliminating meat and dairy from my diet. It made sense, all the issues I was experiencing… colds, allergies, weight gain, and digestion, all were rooted in the foods I was eating. The suggestion made was to try it for 30 days, the worst that could happen was that I could start eating them again.
I eliminated all diary and meat foods out of my diet immediately after that weekend. Within a week I was feeling better. By the end of the month I had decided to keep them out of my diet and basically adopted a vegan lifestyle.
For about 13 years I stayed the course, but realized I had reached a plateau. I still had minor issues with my weight, allergies and energy, nothing like I did in the past, but I still didn’t feel my best. I started noticing that each week I would eat less and less cooked foods and more fresh fruits, salads, nuts and seeds. Soon thereafter I looked into the raw and living food lifestyle and started researching voraciously. What I learned was not only inspirational, it made sense. I’m a truth seeker by nature, I want to find out how and why and follow the truth, regardless if it’s popular or not. I immediately adopted a 100% live, raw food lifestyle and changes began to happen.
First I noticed a surge in energy, needing less sleep and feeling more at peace. My allergies disappeared within a few months. I lost my extra weight and in turn gained more muscle. Now over 2.5 years later, I feel better than at any time in my life. I’m grateful for those that I’ve found online and in my community that shared their experiences and now hope to bring what I’ve learned to you.
